Roka debuts its performance eyewear collection with three sunglass styles. The Phantom, Kona and Vendee each showcase a heritage of classic optical style as well as technical innovations that deliver in performance and comfort. Featuring patent-pending nose and temple GEKO Pad designs inspired by biomimicry of a gecko’s foot geometry and a proprietary elastomer, the frames deliver a strong fit and retention even during sweaty, strenuous activities. These pads offer a comfortable, luxurious feel that allows wearers to almost forget they’re on. Titanium and other high-tech materials also allow for a durable yet lightweight feel. Lenses from Carl Zeiss Vision are available in anti-scratch, anti-fog and anti-reflective coatings for critical optical performance. Styles Vendee and Kona are EMS grilamid TR-90 (nylon) injected frames, while the Phantom is made from beta titanium and titanium. Launched in 2013, the Roka brand also creates performance apparel and equipment, and its products have been worn by multiple world champion athletes and Olympians.
