Oakley launches Quarter Jacket, the company’s first entry into the youth performance world. Specifically engineered to fit the head and face sizes of youth and small adults, Quarter Jacket blends the convenience of an interchangeable lens design that will enhance performance in any environment with the clarity and protection of High Definition Optics. Other standard Oakley performance features include Unobtanium earsocks and nosepads for increased grip when perspiring; optimized peripheral vision and side protection from an 8.75 lens curvature; Plutonite lenses that filter out 100 percent of UVA/UVB/UVC and harmful blue light up to 400 nm; and glare reduction and tuned light transmission from an optional iridium lens coating. Comfort features consist of durability and all-day comfort from lightweight O Matter frame material and zero-pressure Three Point Fit. Quarter Jacket is available with Oakley prescription lenses in single and progressive vision from +2.00 through -3.00. The frame is offered in polished black, polished white, polished navy, polished fog and redline with black iridium, G30 Iridium, fire iridium, +red iridium and gray lenses.

PHILOSOPHY: “Here at Oakley we design for the future and deliver to the present. The same philosophy underlines our new Quarter Jacket. We want kids to be able to wear what the pros and their heroes are wearing, but do so knowing they are wearing a product with unparalleled protection that helps them perform at their very best,” says Declan Lonergan, Oakley eyewear brand manager.

MARKETING: Merchandising materials include in-case cards and an easel-back Duratrans/poster.
