The Branding Committee of the Opticians Association of America is and has been working diligently to create tools to help increase awareness with John Q Public about Opticians—who they are and how they can help people see.

A national video contest gathered entries nationwide—and the result was a fabulous video titled “An Optician’s Main Focus.” Access the current 30-second public service announcement video about opticianry on the OAA’s Facebook page. Share the video on television outlets as well as social media.

Current projects include creating a series of 30-second videos describing how the things you see on a daily basis help define your life and how opticianry can impact that vision. Use the logo and tagline “Opticians, Helping America See,” join the organization and participate in the OAA Facebook page.
