Marcolin Group presents Diesel Shades, its first Diesel sunglass collection, consisting of 28 men’s, women’s and unisex styles. Designed to convey Diesel’s irreverent and original spirit, the new line is positioned in five categories: women, men, military, sport vintage and young. The women’s category emphasizes glamorous, oversized designs and trendsetting shapes such as the cateye in bold, but feminine colors. The men’s segment focuses on sporty aviator shapes in distressed metals with leather and stud accents. The military influence, seen throughout the entire line, features masculine and unisex pilot shapes. Sport vintage consists of ’70s-inspired unisex shapes with graphic details and bold pops of contrasting colors. Highlights of the young category include multilayered acetates in an explosion of energetic colors. An ophthalmic collection is planned.

“Our new Diesel collection truly speaks the language of the label: It’s bold; it’s rock; it’s iconic. It defines the vintage of the future and it confirms the Marcolin ability to interpret the brand DNA,” says Maurizio Marcolin, style and licensing officer of the Marcolin Group. Renzo Rosso, Diesel founder and president, adds: “I strongly believe in our synergy with Marcolin. We established a partnership, which will help us bring innovation and creativity to the eyewear scenario—both in terms of product and communication—in line with our brand DNA.”

A six-place counter display and countercards are available. Packaging includes a hard case and an oversized case for larger, feminine styles.
