Luxottica Group and Prada Sa, a company of Gruppo Prada, have announced the renewal of an exclusive licensing agreement for the design, production and worldwide distribution of prescription frames and sunglasses under the Prada and Miu Miu brands until Dec. 31, 2018, consistent with existing commercial terms and conditions.

KING BABY STUDIO PARTNERS WITH HARVEY ROSS
Santa Monica, Calif.-based King Baby Studio, known for its bold, handcrafted jewelry and accessories, has teamed with Harvey Ross to launch King Baby Eyewear. New Jersey-based Ross Holdings, spearheaded by Harvey Ross and Mitch Barkley, is establishing a separate division to service and support the manufacture and distribution of King Baby Eyewear worldwide. King Baby Eyewear with its founder and designer Mitchell Binder will continue its tradition of handcrafting products in the U.S., creating eyewear with sterling silver pieces, precious stones
and 18-karat gold.
ALLISON SIGNS WITH REPLAY
Allison S.p.A. has signed a license with the Asolo, Italy-based, Fashion Box S.p.A., a jeanswear company with such brands as Replay, Replay & Sons, We Are Replay and Red Seal, for the production of Replay branded sunglasses and ophthalmic frames. The license has an initial term of five years with a worldwide distribution structure based on different levels. The collection will be sold directly to optical stores in all major European countries, while in the rest of the world it will be available through select distributors. The sun collection will also be carried in all Replay stores. The first collection, consisting of more than 20 ophthalmic and sun styles targeted to young men and women, will launch in March 2013 at Mido.
