MODO SIGNS WITH 7 FOR ALL MANKIND Modo Eyewear has signed an exclusive global eyewear licensing agreement with 7 For All Mankind, the Los Angeles-based premium denim lifestyle brand, to design, manufacture and produce 7 For All Mankind Eyewear (pictured). The line will encompass men’s, women’s and children’s ophthalmic frames, sunglasses and eyeglasses and will be available in mid-October, 2009. ZYLOWARE IN AGREEMENT WITH NATORI Zyloware has entered into a licensing agreement to manufacture, market and distribute Natori Eyewear. Designed by Josie Natori (pictured), the eyewear line, which will be available at retail in August, will focus on the exquisite design hallmarks that have come to define Natori’s lingerie, ready-to-wear and home lines for more than 30 years. Included in the collection are 12 ophthalmic styles and five sunglasses. LUXOTTICA RENEWS WITH DONNA KARAN Luxottica Group and Donna Karan International have announced a five-year extension of their licensing agreement for the design, production and worldwide distribution of prescription frames and sunglasses under the Donna Karan (pictured) and DKNY brands. The new agreement will run through December 2014, with an option for a further five-year extension.
NOUVEAU ADDS ARROW EYEWEAR Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation has licensed Nouveau Eyewear to design, produce and market men’s ophthalmic eyewear under PVH’s ARROW brand in the U.S. and Canada. The eyewear will be available in Fall 2009. Targeted to men in their 20s, 30s and 40s with a taste for classic American fashion combined with durability and exceptional value, the collection will include plastic, metal and combination frames in urban shapes with rich colorations.
