L’AMY AMERICA AND A&A OPTICAL ANNOUNCE SALES & SERVICE PARTNERSHIP
Stephen Rappoport, president of L’Amy America, and Robert Liener, president/CEO of A&A Optical, have jointly announced a unique sales and service partnership between the two companies. Emphasizing the partnership is neither a merger nor an acquisition by either company, Rappoport and Liener say L’Amy America and A&A Optical have agreed to collaborate to significantly grow each other’s market share both domestically and internationally through a sales and service arrangement for certain brands within each company’s portfolio.

Concept Eyewear, a Canadian-based ophthalmic frame importer and distributor of the French brands V.Design, V.Design Kids and Bovelo, makes its U.S. debut. V.Design’s assertive upscale handmade ophthalmic frames (pictured) are unique, colorful and extravagant. V.Design Kids mimics the V.Design adult frames and is suitable for teens and small adults. Bovelo, offered at a mid-price point, is an excellent alternative to mass-produced eyewear without compromising style.

EASTERN STATES TO DISTRIBUTE CHANTAL THOMASS
Eastern States Eyewear has begun American distribution of the internationally acclaimed French designer brand Chantal Thomass, known for its lingerie. The initial eyewear collection consists of 11 feminine styles.

RODENSTOCK AND MERCEDES-BENZ EXTEND LICENSE
Rodenstock has extended its worldwide licensing agreement with Mercedes-Benz Accessories until 2018 to produce and distribute Mercedes-Benz ophthalmic frames and sunglasses.

JOHANN VON GOISERN LAUNCHES
Austrian-based Johann Von Goisern launches its eyewear line in the U.S. Frames are handmade in Austria and crafted from 8 mm acetate blocks with a total of 20 layers. Carrying the tagline “Dare to be Different,” the collection consists of styles for adults and children. Each frame is packaged in a foldable case.
