L’Amy America launches Sperry Top-Sider. In keeping with the Sperry Top-Sider commitment to heritage, the eyewear collection reflects a preppy aesthetic with fashion-forward designs. Signature details from the brand’s footwear collection are integrated into the eyewear, including the grommet, skip lace and wave siping pattern. Additionally, anchors and leather integration have been used throughout the collection, combining vibrant color mixes and fine craftsmanship to create inspired looks that are timeless and quintessentially Sperry Top-Sider. The initial collection consists of 20 ophthalmic frames (10 men’s and 10 women’s styles) and 11 sunglasses. The ophthalmic frames have been named after seaside resorts such as Eastham, Montauk and Pawleys.

As part of Sperry Top-Sider’s evolution from a boat shoe into a true nautical lifestyle brand, we are bringing to market an eyewear collection that incorporates the brand DNA,” says Megan Spencer, Sperry Top-Sider brand manager for L’Amy.

MARKETING: Merchandising materials include an eight-frame display, banners and countercards that have been developed to emulate the good life lived in, on and around the sea. Each frame comes with a sailcloth-inspired pouch featuring authentic sail stitching and grommet detailing, and a signature navy cleaning cloth.
