JOHN VARVATOS has been a big fan of English rock bassist and vocalist GLENN HUGHES for years, having first experienced Hughes’ extraordinary singing and bass playing in the very early ’70s on the seminal U.S. tour of Glenn’s first band Trapeze during a Detroit stopover. Hughes is currently touring with the band Black Country Communion, and at one of the gigs he decided on John Varvatos sunglass style V518 from De Rigo Rem from his extensive arsenal of Varvatos frames. He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last year for his seminal role in Deep Purple and accepted wearing Varvatos head to toe. And many might recall Hughes also taking powerful claim being in one of the most infamous yet popular editions of Black Sabbath.

Just last summer, 20/20 witnessed Hughes being personally fitted for Varvatos sun and Rx styles by De Rigo Rem creative director Nico Roseillier.
