Seemingly immortal, The Who’s Roger Daltrey and a (slightly tinted) P3. The shape comes under many monikers from Pantos to Preppy. It comes and goes in fashion circles but forever remains in style as does… Roger Daltrey talkin’ ‘bout Eye Generation. (Although on the recent Who tour, they did not do their classic “My Generation” dipping into their past for a roaring version of “Substitute.”) And it must be noted that Roger has returned to his classic P3 shape in recent sightings.

Visit alecbyrnearchive.com in order to peruse many of the other images by Byrne and also have a look at his book London Rock with its rich treasure of rock and pop culture captures. In a future issue, we’ll be detailing more info about this incredible book and the pioneering photographer Alec Byrne.
