As part of its educational mission in STEM disciplines, EcoExploratorio, Inc., has established a collaborative partnership with CooperVision to create the Scientific Room of Marine Life at the Puerto Rico Science Museum. The room, which is part of the Oceanic Exhibition, will give visitors the opportunity to discover, explore and learn about oceans and marine life, as well as the environmental conservation of Puerto Rico’s natural resources and how they are affected by climate change. The museum expects the exhibit to benefit thousands of students interested in the marine sciences and natural ecosystems of the oceans.

EcoExploratorio received a $25,000 grant from CooperVision Puerto Rico to create the new exhibit, which includes open fish tanks that will allow visitors to interact with various species found in Puerto Rico and around the world.

As part of its educational partnership with CooperVision, EcoExploratorio will make available its digital Virtual Science platform, which connects scientists, teachers and experts from around the world to teachers, students and the general public to educate them on the importance of conserving and preserving marine ecosystems and oceans. This remote learning experience is offered free of charge.
