The Len Work introduces Tiny2, a collection targeted to children three to 13. Based on the t2system for adults, the frames combine a lightweight, high-tech polymer material with a highly evolved rimless mounting system. The kids’ line consists of 30 pieces: six boys’ and six girls’ styles, six sunglasses, six special design cuts and six color grooves. The basic package features polycarbonate lenses in sizes up to 47mm with upgrades to other lens materials available. Decorative accents include laser-etched designs of a favorite icon and child’s name, and painting inside the groove on the lens edge.

PHILOSOPHY:

“As we know from research, the kids’ market continues to grow. In fact, some optical shops specialize only in children,” says Kelly Kim, The Lens Work president and CEO. “Our goal as a company is to meet both the vision and style needs of this evolving segment of the market. The Tiny2 collection with its ultra-light, safe, durable, hypoallergenic properties and the versatility of its colors will perfectly serve the kids’ market.”

MARKETING:

The basic Tiny2 prescription package includes a frame, single-vision polycarbonate lenses with AR coating, hand-edge polish and laser etching of a kid’s favorite character and hard case. A one-time warranty on the lenses, guaranteed under any circumstances within a year from the date of purchase, is offered. A six-place presentation kit is available.
