Modo Eyewear partners with Tretorn, the popular outdoor lifestyle brand, to launch its new Tretorn Glasogon eyewear collection for men and women. The line, named after the Swedish word for eyewear, contains 16 ophthalmic and 12 sunglass styles, available in four colors each. The subtle designs draw on retro elements such as double bridges and thick zyl aviator and butterfly shapes. Full-rimmed and semi-rimless shapes are available in zyl and metal/zyl combinations. Colors range from metal tones and blue, green, orange, red and purple to gray, brown, tortoise, horn and black. Each frame temple features Modo’s exclusive, innovative spring hinge and the Tretorn logo, inspired by the Swedish flag.

PHILOSOPHY:

“The Tretorn philosophy is ‘modern simplicity’ for a lifestyle largely enjoyed outside,” says Alessandro Lanaro, Modo president and CEO. “Inspired by its Scandinavian roots, Tretorn is designed for living life with an understated confidence.”

MARKETING:

Materials range from a modular wooden display to a countercard and wooden card holder. Each frame comes in a recyclable paper cylinder tube, lined in blue or yellow fabric to signify the Swedish flag.
