Opsales launches Old Harbor Outfitters (OHO) brand sunglasses designed for the dedicated fisherman. Included are seven styles combining fashion with cutting-edge patented Beneath the Surface lens and frame technology designed to withstand the harsh elements experienced by serious offshore anglers. Frame materials include A9 composite, an anti-corrosive, durable, ventilated material, and TR90, a material that ensures memory and durability, virtually eliminating frame stretching. Lenses are either NXT or glass with proprietary triple polarization that allows anglers to see further beneath the surface of the water, making spotting marlin in the spread and bonefish in the flats much easier. The lenses also feature advancements in UV filtration and photochromic, AR, hydrophobic, oleophobic and flash mirror treatments.

PHILOSOPHY:

“We set out to use the latest in sunglass technologies, build the ultimate line of fishing sunglasses and then go beyond what is currently available on the market, pushing the level of innovation,” says Opsales president Jerry Bedingfield. “The lenses and frames will aggressively deter corrosive effects of the sea’s salt air, ensuring sportsmen get the most out of their extreme lifestyle.”

MARKETING:

Each sunglass comes with a black zippered storage case with patented ventilation and belt hook, hydrostatic lens cleaner and signature cleaning cloth.
