Sàfilo USA: Glamour Collection

Sàfilo USA launches the Sàfilo Glamour Collection. Targeted to contemporary women who appreciate fine jewelry details, quality Italian workmanship and rich design, but at more moderate prices than those associated with the eyewear collections of high-end jewelers, the initial collection consists of seven ophthalmic and five sun styles. Frames are named for glamorous Hollywood leading ladies and are accented with three-dimensional decorative elements enhanced with Swarovski crystals. All ophthalmic frames can accommodate progressive lenses and are available in soft oval and muffin shapes. Two styles are semi-rimless. Sunglasses are variations of modified and softened rectangles. Frames are offered in a range of hues, including black or pearl gray, silk tortoise, tiger eye, golden pearl, crystal gold, black diamond and coffee or chocolate brown.

PHILOSOPHY:

MARKETING:
Merchandising materials include a six-place display and large and small countercards. Each style comes with a case.

A Sàfilo Glamour sunwear collection was first launched in Italy in October 2005 and was followed by an optical collection in February 2006. The Italian collection offers different styling then the U.S. collection but is marketed under the same name and brand logo.
