TOMS introduces a new sunwear collection in partnership with Zeiss—the Discoverist Collection. Designed to appeal to everyone’s inner adventurer, the collection features six unisex handcrafted acetate sunglass styles in classic and fashion-forward shapes. All frames are equipped with premium Zeiss polarized lenses, providing UVA/UVB protection and eliminating unwanted glare from reflective surfaces. The lenses are coated with Zeiss’ Ri-Pel technology, which acts as a repellant to water and oil, making the lenses highly resistant to smudges and fingerprints. INSIGHT  
A TOMS sight-giving trip to Paraguay became the setting for the inaugural partnership with Zeiss, where the TOMS eyewear team discovered that much of the clinical equipment used by their sight-giving partners was donated by Zeiss. The two companies recognized their mutual interest in creating high-performance sunwear and making vision care more accessible, leading to the partnership to accomplish both goals.
