Renowned fashion designer Victoria Beckham introduces her namesake eyewear collection. Featuring both sun and optical styles, the collection focuses on wearable and versatile styles that can easily fit into a woman’s everyday wardrobe. The color palette is influenced by the brand’s flagship store in London on Dover Street and includes glossy greens, dark ambers and elegant cream colors. The materials used in the collection consist of a united texture theme with luxurious marble-like surfaces and perforated leather brow bars and acetate that mimics fish scales. Many of the optical styles and shapes are echoed from the sunglass collection, with an emphasis on elegant and elongated shapes.

PHILOSOPHY:  “Since we opened our flagship Dover Street store and subsequently our store in Hong Kong, I’ve been really inspired by the materials and colors used in the interiors—glossy green glass and rich walnut, so the color palette for my autumn/winter collection includes a Dover Street Green and new marble effect acetates,” says Victoria Beckham. “The main thing I wanted to achieve with this season’s eyewear was a feeling of wearability—nothing too challenging, so sunglasses and opticals that will work with what my customer already has within her wardrobe and complement her everyday look. Of course, it was also very important for me to maintain a sense of luxury in terms of the materials used and the smaller details, so we have perforated leather brow bars on the aviators, and new, subtly branded metal hinges. I particularly love the flat top aviator style, which I’ve been wearing a lot recently.”
