Marcolin USA launches the Tom Ford Private Eyewear collection. The collection includes a special edition of sunglasses and optical styles designed for Tom Ford himself. Consisting of five sunglass styles and six optical styles, each frame commemorates the designer’s 11 years of creating eyewear. Constructed of the finest materials, genuine buffalo horn is used to give each piece a unique quality with natural patterns, while high-grade Japanese titanium is selected for its lightweight and sleek look. All sunglass styles feature photochromic lenses and include details such as the brand’s signature metal “T” at the temples, double bar bridges and cross-front frames. The optical styles are slightly more subdued than the sunglass styles with minimalist aviator and wayfarer-inspired shapes, and are all lightly tinted in brown, blue or green.

PHILOSOPHY:  “These are the frames that I personally wear and in some instances originally designed only for myself. This is truly my own private collection,” says Tom Ford. “In most cases, these editions of my favorite frames have been produced in new elevated materials that are uncommon in most commercially produced frames.”
