Revolution Eyewear introduces its Millefiori optical collection. Millefiori is a glasswork technique which produces distinctive decorative patterns on glassware. The term millefiori is a combination of the Italian words “mille,” which translates to thousand and “fiori,” which translates to flowers. Each feminine frame features a Venetian glass bead on the temples for a colorful and vibrant detail. In 1911, two brothers who were following their passion for glass opened a small workshop in Murano for the production of these Venetian glass beads. The company is still operated by family members who produce their products one by one with the same extreme precision and care that Revolution now uses for each Millefiori frame.
