ProDesign Denmark launches its first line of sunglasses designed for both men and women. Featuring five collections, frames are made of a combination of acetate and titanium in modern shapes and classic colors. Acetate frames are two-layered with subtle colors on the front and bright colors on the inside. All frames are equipped with high-quality CR39 polarized lenses, and each lens has a four-layer AR treatment. Each collection is characterized by different styles that incorporate various materials and technical details. From graphic-cut temple patterns to matte finishes, all frames are designed for functionality and comfort in shapes and sizes for all customers.

PHILOSOPHY: “From the hand-sketching to production using the most advanced technology available, the development of our hinges is part of a very long process,” says Allan Rasmussen, chief designer at ProDesign Denmark. “Functionality and design must work together so details and function become integrated in the final design.”

INSIGHT
Already used in the existing optical collection, certain frames feature a hinge exclusively made for ProDesign. Styles 8623, 8624, 8625, 8626 and 8627 from the sunwear collection feature this hinge, which is designed in Denmark and produced and dyed in Italy. The hinge design is appropriate for acetate, aluminum and titanium frames.
