Modo launches the Biotech Sun Collection, pushing injection-molded sunglasses to a new and more stylish arena. The Biotech material is made up of 63 percent castor seed oil, which drastically reduces the environmental impact. Consisting of eight frames, including one woman’s and one unisex style, each style comes in four color options and features high chromatic definition (HDC) lenses, polarized polycarbonate with anti-reflective, impact resistant and anti-smudge coatings. Snap-on temples provide additional safety and durability for the wearer. The combination of performance frames and lenses make the sunglasses an ideal option for driving and active sports. Colorways range from classic to warm earth tones for the men’s styles, to playful hues like purple and lavender for the women’s styles. The lenses add additional pops of color, with options such as a green lens with blue mirror, a brown lens with gold mirror and an au courant smoke lens with either a silver mirror or blue mirror coating.
