For 30 years, Christian Roth and Eric Domege have brought their own unique sensibilities to eyewear, creating a visionary brand that defines trends and sets fashion standards. Now as they celebrate their 30th anniversary in eyewear design, they revisit styles for which they are known—oversized acetates, bold titanium creations and mask-like wraparounds, with the latest in technology—technology not available when they first started designing. Highlights of the 30th Anniversary Collection include gold titanium temples on some styles along with a jewel-like enamel accent on the temple tips in various shades of orange adorned with a whimsical geometric pattern designed by Korean artist JunChang Park as an ode to the Christian Roth brand.

PHILOSOPHY: “We always make design and quality our highest priority, and we do not make any compromises. It’s our mission to deliver new shades, new silhouettes, new concepts, new materials, new colorations. We like to get away from the ordinary and create something others haven’t done,” says Christian Roth. “Ultimately our goal has been to make people look good—mirroring their personalities and the zeitgeist of the times.”

MARKETING:  In 2012, Roth and Domege founded the firm Optical Affairs Company and launched their e-commerce destination, christian-roth.com .
