Sàfilo celebrates its 80th anniversary with a special capsule collection created in collaboration with influential and versatile Australian designer Marc Newson. The new line revisits an archived style from the brand’s historical UFO collection, chosen by Newson. Avant-garde shapes and unique technology, including the new Elasta 80 hinge, and such materials as aluminum, ultra-thin steel wire and Sàfilo’s extremely lightweight Optyl are used to reinterpret the past. The silhouettes are offered in refined, luminous royal blue and metallic tones in a cohesive line that combines tradition and innovation.
