In conjunction with the recent addition of Kensie Girl apparel and accessories to the Kensie brand, Kenmark launches Kensie Girl Eyewear targeted to girls between the ages of 7 and 12. The Kensie Girl’s motto is “let’s hang out and make pretty.” She enjoys dressing in the latest trends whether it’s a dress with tights or skinny jeans with a sweater. And she always knows how to accessorize any outfit with the perfect scarf, belt, sneakers and eyewear. She likes being feminine, pretty, colorful and comfortable. To reflect its customer base, Kensie Girl Eyewear features 10 styles in hip, vintage-inspired shapes updated to be whimsical and edgy. Trendy colors, patterns and cute details such as hearts, flowers, birds and stripes are translated from the clothing line.

PHILOSOPHY:
“The Kensie Girl ophthalmic collection is the stylish ‘little sis’ to the women’s Kensie eyewear line. The frames were designed to appeal to a young girl without talking down to her and also to petite women who want a smaller frame that fits well. The frames feature colors that pop, eye shapes that flatter and décor that will make her smile,” says Lauryn Morris, Kenmark industrial designer.

MARKETING:
Merchandising materials include a four-place display, countercards, mirror and logo block. Each frame comes in a hard case with a purple exterior and red lining.
