Match Eyewear launches AV Studio, a partner brand to its Adrienne Vittadini Eyewear line, which made its debut in 2010. Following in the fashionable footsteps of Adrienne Vittadini, AV Studio reinvents casual elegance by bringing a bold, sexy edge to classic eyewear designs. Innovative shapes and textures, surprising colors and fun, flirty styling provide a fresh, sassy take on modern refinement. Included are 18 ophthalmic styles and 10 sunglasses, all delivering daring, sophisticated eyewear to young women 20 to 35, who have a chic, adventurous sense of style.

 

PHILOSOPHY: ”The AV Studio collection is cool and a little audacious, but it maintains the polish and accessible luxury of the
Adrienne Vittadini brand,” says Ethan Goodman, president of Match Eyewear.

MARKETING: To launch the AV Studio collection, Match has created new brand images and logos that will be featured in integrated marketing efforts and merchandising materials, including countercards and logo plaques. All ophthalmic frames and sunglasses are accompanied with hard cases and branded cleaning cloths.

Adrienne Vittadini launched her sportswear brand in 1979, reinventing knitwear as a viable sportswear category, providing consumers with fresh, feminine styling appropriate for both the office and more casual settings. Her design technique emphasized rich textiles and the use of luxurious, textured yarns to evoke a sense of causal ease and sophistication.
