Zyloware: Invincilites

A technology-driven design for the 21st century
Zyloware launches Invincilites, the company’s first in-house brand in 30 years. Taking its name from Zyloware’s Invincible, a best-selling nylon frame introduced in the 1960s—more than 20 million pairs were sold—the new line features a three-piece mount design with a screwless simple plug-pressure mounting system. Targeted to men and women from 18 to 55+, Invincilites consists of the Gamma collection, which debuts this month and the Beta collection, which will be released in March/April of this year. Gamma features a hingeless design, grilamid temples and a metal bridge for added adjustability. The temples are offered in six translucent colors and are available with six lens shapes. The Beta collection is fabricated from 100 percent beta titanium.
PHILOSOPHY: “Invincilites fills today’s consumers’ desire for thin, functional, modern eyewear. Three-piece mountings have never been so easy, light and carefree. And within each collection, any shape can be glazed with any color, resulting in a customized look for each Invincilites wearer,” says Zyloware president Chris Shyer.
MARKETING: The tagline for the new line is “Invincilites keep the focus on you eyes, not on the eyewear.” The collection is sold in a six-place merchandising/display kit with sales brochures, product information sheets and technical data sheets. Each frame comes with a case.

E’lite Eyewear:
SmartFlip Convertibles

The next generation in magnetic technology
E’lite Eyewear, known for its  magnetic clips, introduces the SmartFlip Convertibles line. Each product in the new line comes with a frame and two clips—the new SmartFlip clip and E’lite’s signature magnetic SmartClip. The SmartFlip is a patent-pending, temple-mounted flip mechanism, which gives the wearer the ability to easily flip the clip up and down. Each clip is equipped with amber tinted, polarized lenses with an anti-reflective back coating. The SmartClip also features a polarized lens in brown or gray. Both clips can be independently magnetically attached to the frame. New to this collection is the exclusive use of Polaroid brand lenses. SmartFlip Convertibles consists of six metal frames—three men’s, two unisex and one women’s. Eye sizes range from 48mm to 57mm. Several additional styles, including zyls, will be launched throughout the year.

Sans Pareil: Alpha and Beta

A marriage of style and function
Sans Pareil introduces its rimless collection consisting of the Alpha Series for women and Beta Series for men. Both are made of beta titanium, a lightweight, flexible, corrosion-free, hypoallergenic material ideal for rimless frames. The new collection has a three-piece mount design with a screwless application ensuring lenses are secure and permanently in place. The Alpha Series contains four feminine styles—diamond, geometric upsweep, oval and pillow in brown, light gunmetal and rose. The Beta Series for men offers a modified oval, rectangle and modified rectangle in rich brown and light gunmetal. Both the Alpha and Beta Series feature sleek, ultra-thin lines and assorted shapes that work well for a wide range of age groups and lens needs from single vision to progressive. The eye size is 48mm with an 18mm or 19mm bridge and a temple length of 135mm. All chassis are interchangeable.
