Under a licensing agreement with Apple Corps Ltd., the multimedia company founded by The Beatles, Revolution Eyewear has the exclusive worldwide rights to develop certain Beatles’ songs and imagery for collections of sunwear and ophthalmic frames. Yellow Submarine Sunwear is the first collection under the arrangement. Included are 10 colorful styles featuring the unique signature artwork from the celebrated “Yellow Submarine” film. The artwork is made possible by two types of patented technology used in designing the temples: HDA (High Definition Acetate) and BMT (Beautiful Metallic Touch). HDA excels in displaying patterns and graphics more sharply and vividly than was possible in the past and can be perfectly matched with BMT technology, which allows ultra-sharp pattern cutting.
