Eyewear Designs launches Paula Deen Eyewear, a 12-piece collection consisting of five plastics and seven plastic/metal combinations. The styling is fresh with contemporary design elements, exemplifying the charm and lifestyle brand associated with Paula Deen, American cook, restaurateur, author, actress and Emmy Award-winning TV personality. Strategically developed to appeal to the Paula Deen consumer, the new line offers exceptional value, Eyewear Designs says. Features include stone and metal appliqué embellishments, rich temple treatments and creative color mixes. Many styles are equipped with adjustable nosepads and many of the frames are progressive lens friendly.

“We are very excited to partner with Paula Deen Enterprise for this new collection. Paula has been a source of inspiration through the development process of the eyewear. Because of her involvement and strong consumer following, we feel the eyewear line will be tremendously successful,” says Andrea Gluck, co-president of Eyewear Designs.

INSIGHT
Born in Albany, Ga., Paula Deen began her culinary career with a small, home-based catering business called “The Bag Lady.” Today she lives in Savannah, where she owns and operates The Lady & Sons restaurant, enormously popular with both locals and tourists. She has also written several cookbooks, produces a bi-monthly magazine, has been involved in multiple TV shows and has an ever-expanding product line that includes cookware, cutlery, small appliances and gourmet foods.
