Luxottica Group launches Tory Burch Ophthalmic Eyewear, a women’s lifestyle brand that embodies the personal style and spirit of its co-founder and creative director, Tory Burch. Included are 17 frames in plastic, metal and plastic/metal combinations. Shapes range from modern, angular styles to over-sized vintage designs inspired by the ’60s and ’70s to sophisticated, classic silhouettes. Signature design elements consist of graphic prints, leather accents and iconic logo treatments—single-, double- and quadruple-“Ts.” Predominant colors are black, tortoise, brown, amber, olive, navy and plum with an abundance of fades from dark to light and crystal.

Merchandising materials include a four-place display, three-place cardboard display, one-place glorifier, countercards and catalog. Three eyeglass cases in varying sizes are available, each with a cleaning cloth.

Tory Burch’s childhood on a farm outside of Philadelphia, as well as her parents’ distinctive sense of personal style, influence the aesthetics of her collection. Her sensibility is also inspired by art, photography, especially travel photography, film and the work of interior designer David Hicks. Graphic prints, bold colors and ethnic details are all signatures
of the brand.
