The McGee Group: Orvis

GOOD SPORTS

Under a licensing agreement with Orvis, a brand deeply rooted in sporting traditions and especially fly-fishing, The McGee Group launches Orvis Eyewear. Targeted to the professional man 26 to 60, who appreciates style, respects tradition and desires quality and comfort, the new collection consists of ophthalmic styles made of stainless steel, titanium, monel and acetate, and sunglasses constructed of stainless steel, titanium and injected nylon. Frames include fully rimmed, semi-rimless and three-piece drill-mount designs with such features as adjustable nosepads, integrated spring hinges, metal logo plaques, carbon-fiber inlays and wood-grain patterns. Colors consist of classic hues—black, brown and tortoise—in matte and shiny finishes.
