British Eyewear designer Tom Davies offers Bespoke eyewear, a completely customized service that makes eyewear to order. Clients can simply choose a frame they like from Davies’ Ready to Wear frame collection and a select group of opticians take a sophisticated series of simple measurements based on width, eye size and temple width and length. Colors and materials and even the screw types and colors can be altered. Within three weeks, the individual receives a tailor-made frame with his or her name discreetly laser engraved on the temple interior. Or ECPs can use Davies new Designer service in which they choose materials, components, shapes and colors, putting together a truly bespoke collection for their practice.

PHILOSOPHY:
“Why compromise when it comes to glasses? Bespoke spectacles and sunglasses fit perfectly because they are expressly designed and handmade to suite a person’s face, coloring, physical characteristics and lifestyle,” says Tom Davies. “And there are no new skills for an optician to learn when creating bespoke frames. It’s comparable to working with a rimless product, but with any style of frame.”
