Silhouette Optical introduces SPX Folding Rimless, a synthetic rimless collection. The line, which contains eight styles, was designed as a more edgy, urban companion to the company’s SPX Motion collection released earlier this year. The minimal styles of the new frames feature straighter, more solid temple lines and sleek titanium bridges and endpieces. Temples are made with SPX—Silhouette Polyamide X with “X” the secret ingredient closely guarded by the company. The material allows for luminous, lasting color effects and a high degree of flexibility and shape retention. All styles incorporate screwless hinges, TwinLock pressure mountings and soft EmPad nosepads and are offered in eight colors and lens shapes. Brown polarized clip-ons are available.
