Following in the footsteps of the successful launch of Derek Lam Sunwear earlier this year, Modo
introduces the Derek Lam ophthalmic line, consisting of five acetate frames and four block titanium
styles. Targeted to the young-in-spirit, cultured, self-confident woman who has built a career and
lifestyle based on her desires, the frames are handcrafted by artisans in Japan. Distinctly feminine, the
eyewear takes its direction from the smaller silhouettes of the ’40s and ’50s. Rounded temples reinforce
the look of vintage frames. Colors also reflect a sensual, feminine feel and include pine, scarlet,
acorn, chianti, pink, tortoise, copper, gun, brushed silver and matte brown and black. Some styles are
equipped with spring hinges.
