N.Y.-P.D. — New York plays a confusing game
in late March through early April with a bewildering
tug-of-war between a stubborn winter and a timid
spring. One day it’s hot and the next day it’s freezing.
And some days that extreme plays out all in the
space of a morning and afternoon. Everyone seems
perplexed. Fashion collides with function. The
sentiment of the day seems built on varieties of
scowls, grunts and barbs. People dress inappropriately.
Style comes to a standstill. It’s time to go shopping
for new eyewear folks.
