Modo unveiled Modo for NetJets, its exclusive, custom-made sunwear collection, at Ilori sunglass boutique in New York’s Soho. The event attracted socialites and stars such as Alex McCord and husband Simon van Kempen (shown below), from the reality TV series “Real Housewives of New York.”

Modo for NetJets was born with a mission to create the ultimate aviation sunglass for NetJets Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway company and the world leader in private aviation. The sunglasses combine Modo’s exclusive High Chromatic Definition (HCD) lens performance features with the latest titanium frame material applications (TFlex). HCD is impact resistant and cockpit friendly, absorbing blue-sky light, thereby enhancing chromatic definition and providing maximum optical acuity for outside and inside vision alike. The benefits of HCD extend beyond the confines of the airplane cockpit—drivers, golfers, yachtsmen and other sport enthusiasts will appreciate the enhanced performance. NetJets will donate all licensing royalties it receives from Modo to charity.

Also at the event (above) are Alexis Velez, Ilori flagship manager; Nancy Hershey-Lalli, Ilori regional manager; Alessandro Lanaro, Modo president and CEO; and Giovanni Lo Faro, Modo director of marketing and business development.
