It was a busy time on the award show circuit for Sàfilo USA. They, along with Solstice Sunglass Boutique, were sponsors of the Sundance Film Festival Hollywood Life House in Park City, Utah, and participated in both the official gift lounge at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles and the Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica, Calif.

As part of Sàfilo’s sponsorship, Solstice Sunglass Boutique hosted a cocktail party at the Hollywood Life House for the film “The Guitar,” which premiered at Sundance and was directed by Amy Redford, daughter of Robert Redford, the founder of the Sundance Film Festival. Redford is shown here in Giorgio Armani 555/s along with one of the stars of her movie, Saffron Burrows in Boss 133/s. Also getting fitted with sunwear were Mischa Barton, late of “The O.C.” whose new movie “Assassination of a High School President” debuted at Sundance, in Balenciaga 0003/ns and “Ugly Betty” star Freddie Rodriguez in Boss 0120/s.

The vendor was at the Grammy Awards fitting such notables as musician John Legend in Diesel 0089/s, “Hannah Montana” herself, Miley Cyrus in Marc Jacobs 201/s and country crooner Brad Paisley in Juicy Couture Bowie/s. Musician Morris Day of the band Morris Day and the Time, loved his Emporio Armani 9444/s style so much he performed on stage at the Grammys wearing the sunglasses.

Finally, celebs got into the sunny spirit at the Independent Spirit Awards. Modeling their new sunglasses are actress Amy Ryan in Giorgio Armani 603/s, Lisa Kudrow, late of TV’s “Friends,” in Marc Jacobs 191/s and comedian Trevor Moore director of  the IFC series “The Whitest Kids U Know” in Yves Saint Laurent 2240/s
