Global Launches PAL Training Program for ECPs — Global Optics, a Green Bay, Wis.-based buying group for independent wholesale labs, together with Innereactive Media of Grand Rapids, Mich., has recently released disc two of the Jumpstart training series, “Jumpstart 2: Progressive Lens Technology.” The CD-ROM provides in-depth information about progressive lens technology and the benefits of dispensing premium progressive lenses in an optical office. Jumpstart 2 is not specific to one lens manufacturer and will provide experienced optical professionals with insightful information as to the pros and cons of various progressive lens technologies, as well as how they apply to a variety of spectacle prescriptions. The disc also contains training videos, animated examples, illustrations, music, narration and more.
