GO BIG OR GO HOME: In the spirit of election month, the spotlight is on a trend that Trumps all others: HUGE frames. Not for the faint-of-heart, large frames are for those who consider glasses a style statement—a way to express individuality. Big frames cover a lot of territory, looking artsy, hip, nerdy-cool or classic, all depending on color and shape. An oversized yet traditional navy frame looks fresh but professional, while big tortoise in an unusual shape looks instantly artsy. Like presidential candidates, huge frames won’t appeal to everyone, but for the right demographic, these are a big win in a big way. —Iris Johnson
