SIGNET PARTNERS WITH DR. TAVEL ON KODAK RETAIL PROGRAM

With the launch last month of six Kodak Lens Dr. Tavel locations in the Indianapolis, Ind., metro area, Signet Armorlite is implementing the next phase of its new U.S. retail initiative. The Kodak Lens retail initiative provides independent eyecare professionals (iECPs) who are committed to dispensing Kodak lenses with the opportunity to leverage the strength, recognition and value of the Kodak brand in their local markets. Existing iECP owners retain full ownership of their stores.

The Dr. Tavel Optical Group is a family-owned and operated retailer with 19 locations across Indiana. A grand reopening event was held on March 9 at the Kodak Lens Dr. Tavel location in Zionsville, Ind.

In conjunction with the Dr. Tavel Kodak program, Signet Armorlite launched its first Kodak Lens TV spot in North America in the Indianapolis market. The spot is an integral part of a multi-year media plan in the greater Indianapolis market. Signet Armorlite plans to launch similar media campaigns in markets that are heavily saturated with Kodak Lens advocates.

Signet Armorlite launched its U.S. retail program in December 2015 with the opening of Kodak Lens Heitmeier Eyecare in New Orleans. The lens maker says it will expand the program and that the rebranding of several other iECP practices are already underway.
