Sparks fly this summer as Burberry kicks the season off with a bang with the launch of the Burberry Spark campaign. Curated by Burberry’s Christopher Bailey, the campaign once again features up-and-coming British musicians in styles from the new Burberry Spark eyewear collection from Luxottica. Members of the bands Coastal Cities, The Night VI and Broken Hands are photographed in vivid portraits wearing sunglass styles from the new Burberry Spark eyewear collection.

Reflecting Burberry’s latest runway collection, the Spark collection features sunwear and optical styles for men and women that capture the excitement and energy of summer and the luminous spirit of the British music scene. The sunwear collection includes two-tone acetate styles in square shapes for men and rounded cateyes for women, and acetate/metal combos with solid colored frame fronts combined with metal temples, in a color palette inspired by the ready-to-wear and accessories seen on the Burberry runway. Foldable aviators with flexible temples are also a standout in the Spark collection, as well as optical styles in acetate/metal combos with some styles featuring the iconic Burberry check pattern on the temples.

Of course, a campaign featuring rock musicians isn’t complete without a soundtrack. To coincide with the Burberry Spark campaign launch, each featured band recorded an exclusive single (available for download on iTunes) along with accompanying music videos shot on location in London.
