VISIONWEB INTEGRATES WITH DIVERSIFIED OPHTHALMICS’ PRACTICE MAXIMUS SOFTWARE
The VisionWeb ophthalmic product ordering service is now integrated with Diversified Ophthalmics’ Practice Maximus optometric management software. With this module, eyecare professionals using the Practice Maximus software can now place orders directly with any of VisionWeb’s lab partners from within their practice management software.

This follows years of collaborative innovation for the two companies. For example, 10 years ago, as one of VisionWeb’s early partners, Diversified was the first to offer ECPs the option to order both soft contact lenses and eyeglass lenses through the VisionWeb portal. “The integration of Practice Maximus with VisionWeb’s ordering portal means our current and future practice management software user base can place orders with their preferred lab right at their fingertips,” says Ronald Cooke, OD, president and chief executive officer of Diversified Ophthalmics. “This, along with our EHR certification, is a very important milestone in our continued effort to meet the growing needs of our customers and their patients.”

Tom Loveless, vice president of business development and chief financial officer for VisionWeb remarked, “This addition provides more access to the products and services VisionWeb members need. We are committed to providing our users with a one-stop shopping experience that makes ordering more convenient and efficient. Connectivity like this is precisely the reason today’s busy eyecare practices are choosing VisionWeb services for convenient online ordering.”
