A&A continues its quest to give back to the community. Last winter A&A joined forces with Unite For Sight, donating 500 Jalapeños Sol sunglasses to the non-profit. Unite For Sight. An NGO, Unite For Sight empowers communities worldwide to improve eye health and eliminate preventable blindness by supporting eye clinics worldwide through investing human and financial resources in social ventures that eliminate patient barriers to eye care.

Joleen Moore, a Unite For Sight volunteer, traveled to Accra, Ghana to work at the Crystal Eye Clinic and personally deliver the Jalapeños sunglasses. Traveling up to six hours per day to reach remote villages, Moore and a group of dedicated volunteers and medical professionals transformed hundreds of lives in a short period of time. “All the patients were very grateful for the services and products they received. You could tell it was a blessing for them to regain basic abilities such as reading.”
