Blue Light Special

Silhouette is happy to be blue. The company garnered a top honor for its Blue Light/Advanced Macular Degeneration (AMD) Awareness Campaign. The wellness initiative was named a finalist for the Delta Awards, which honors excellence in medical marketing and is bestowed by the Medical Marketing Association (MMA).

Silhouette was one of only eight companies nationwide to receive such a distinction. The company was commended for its “exceptional leadership in the development of its innovative, impactful medical marketing program” and for its “association with creativity and success in the medical industry.” Silhouette’s Blue Light Awareness Campaign is a multi-tiered initiative designed to aid eyecare practitioners in educating their patients on the dangers of blue light.

“We could not be more thrilled by this unexpected commendation,” says Debra Severson, director of strategic programs and account support for Silhouette. “The Delta Awards are extremely competitive, recognizing achievements in all fields of advanced medical marketing. For our Sight Protection initiative to be so noted is a tremendous honor.”
