L’AMY TO SUB-LICENSE COLUMBIA TO STYLEMARK L’Amy America has signed a sub-license agreement with Stylemark Inc., specialists in the sport and department store channels of trade for Stylemark, to be the exclusive producer and distributor with those channels of Columbia Sportswear Sunglasses, under the direction of Columbia Eyewear’s worldwide licensee, L’Amy America. L’Amy America holds the worldwide license for all Columbia Eyewear, both ophthalmic and sunwear. DIOPTICS INTROS FITS OVER SUNWEAR Dioptics Medical Products launches Haven Fits Over Sunwear (pictured), featuring premium polarized sunglasses and clip ons designed to be worn over prescription glasses. Both the sunglasses and clip ons are equipped with Advanced TX7 lens technology. CLAIRE GOLDSMITH LAUNCHES OPTICAL COLLECTION To complement the classic remakes of her grandfather Oliver Goldsmith’s vintage sunglasses, Claire Goldsmith launches the Claire Goldsmith Optical Collection: Legacy, which consists of 10 ophthalmic frames made in Italy. CORINNE MCCORMACK ADDS TWO COLLECTIONS Corinne McCormack introduces two eyewear accessories collection for the holidays: Jewel Baroque (pictured) and Starkitechture. Jewel Baroque focuses on strong, intense colors such as purple, teal and ruby and sparkling beads and lustrous stones. Taking its inspiration from the ’80s, Starkitechture features elongated profiles and flashes of bright pink, purple and yellow paired with black. The Corinne McCormack line includes eyeglasses, optic necklaces, EyeRings and eyeglass cases. ALLYN SCURA GOES PLATINUM Known for its vintage and vintage-inspired eyeglasses, Allyn Scura Eyewear celebrates its 20th (plus) anniversary with the release of the Platinum collection, consisting of four men’s/unisex styles and three women’s designs in cat-eye, clubman, rounded and sharply angled shapes. Frames are acetate and equipped with tempered UV mineral glass lenses in bottle green or gray/green. Frame colors range from brown, black and tortoise tones to baby blue and crystal and red/white/cream and black/white and orange combinations.
