Luxottica has chosen Canadian super model, Daria Werbowy, as the new face of Vogue Eyewear. Werbowy will be featured in Vogue’s continuing “Play Everyday” campaign, which has evolved into a more perceptible concept with the frames themselves playing the leading role in defining a style. Werbowy herself embodies the true spirit of Vogue Eyewear: Cool, trendy and glamorous. Vogue frames are created for women who love to be noticed and consider their eyewear an indispensable fashion accessory.

In her first season in 2003, Werbowy captured two of the modeling world’s most coveted prizes: the cover of Vogue Italia, twice; and Prada’s Fall/ Winter ad campaign. She is regarded as one of the top runway models, appearing in more shows than any model in a single season. “We are so thrilled that Daria will proudly be representing the brand,” says Vittorio Verdun, VP of marketing, Luxottica Group. “She is the perfect match for Vogue, a woman who reflects the spirit of fun, elegance and glamour while maintaining an image that is both natural and accessible.”
