an Optical Shop
of Aspen store in
the prestigious
Malibu Country
Mart. The premiere
location
in Malibu,
Malibu Country
Mart boasts
some of the
most exquisite
stores in the
country while
maintaining
a small town
ambience.
The grand opening party hosted by Sands, was packed with attendees including a visit by the friendly local Malibu Sheriffs who stopped by but allowed the fun to continue. Guests included Sands’ wife Christina, OSA International president/COO Troy Schmidt and his wife, Elisa Schmidt, Chrome Hearts owners Richard and Laurie Stark, Chrome Hearts publicist Roxana Zal, Optical Shop of Aspen VP of retail Linda Shimazaki, Optical Shop of Aspen creative director Sasha Plavsic, and Optical Shop of Aspen director of marketing and events Michi Arena. DJ Tina tipped the sound scape, while revelers enjoyed sushi from NOBU. Stockholm Krystal Vodka created a special vodka menu for the evening. A great mix of Malibu locals, Optical Shop of Aspen and Chrome Hearts customers, and celebrities such as Vivica Fox and Dick Van Dyke socialized and enjoyed the gorgeous balmy weather, trying on new eyewear styles from Chrome Hearts, Blinde and other luxury brands.
