ClearVision: Petites Collection

A PETITE PASSION

ClearVision Optical launches the Petites Collection designed specifically for the fashion-conscious, petite woman. This series is a direct result of ClearVision conducting two years of market research on the subject in which its findings concluded ECPs felt there weren’t enough fashion choices for petite women. The new line encompasses bold, fashion eyewear options from four of its brands: the fashion-forward BCBG Max Azria; the timeless Ellen Tracy; the romantic Jessica McClintock; and the contemporary ClearVision house brand. Each brand offers two styles in two sizes and three colors. Materials consist of metal and metal/plastic combinations in full rimmed and semi-rimless designs. Frame colors are in tune with each brand’s customer expectations and include aubergine, mauve gold, peach blossom, sage, wine, brown and black. All styles are equipped with spring hinges.

 

PHILOSOPHY:
"What’s different about these Petite frames is they are bolder designs made specifically to fit a smaller face—proportionately smaller at the bridge, eye and endpiece,” says ClearVision president David Friedfeld. “The overall face size, temple lengths and distance between the pupils are smaller for a better fit, resulting in optimal viewing because the lenses’ optical centers are adjusted to accommodate smaller pupillary distances.”
