Opti-nation has many faces and The Vision Council of America membership clearly represents the heart and soul of an industry. Here is a remembered series of snapshots that tell the story of optical as it worked and played in Boca Raton, Florida on the occasion of the VCA annual meeting this winter.

The VCA winter meeting attracted executives from a broad industry spectrum, including (l to r) Mike Daley of Essilor Lenses, Zyloware’s Chris Shyer, and Bruno Salvadori of Signet Armorlite.

The VCA meeting was not all work and no play. During a fishing tournament, one team brought in the big one—a five-foot wahoo.
