Derived from a Polynesian word meaning “free,” Kaenon was founded in 2001 by two brothers, Steve and Darren Rosenberg, whose mission was to create a better sunglass. In the process, they developed SR-91, a proprietary polarized lens and housed it in frames with distinctive shapes and color treatments suitable for an active lifestyle.
