Co-designed by company founder Jeff Herold and eyewear industry veteran Patrick Hussey, these two styles provide the ultimate in optical clarity and comfort, the company says. Albatross’ aviator style is ideal for nearly every face type, while the navigator design of the Mustang works best for a medium to larger face. Constructed from ultra-lightweight titanium, these frames can be comfortably worn with a hat, headphones or headset. Strategically-placed acetate eliminates incoming side light and also provides a stylish look. The frames are offered with an aviation-specific, non-polarized CR-39 lens. The lenses are hand-ground and polished, and feature a hydrophobic coating, several layers of magnesium hexafluoride to diffuse ambient light and protect eyes from harsh reflections, and a scratch-resistant top coat. Mineral glass lenses with or without polarization are available.

MARKETING:
Albatross and Mustang made their debut at the world-renowned EAA AirVenture aviation show in Oshkosh, Wis., in July. Customized merchandising materials are available. Each sunglass comes with both aluminum and leather hard cases, and a microfiber pouch and cleaning cloth.
